I want to go to multi sig so badly, but what terrifies me is you NEED all the xpubs, derivation paths, and private keys if need to restore multi sig in the future- i was reading this and it is my worst nightmare-
to remember a single sig 24 seed is easy, but multi sig, no one on earth can memorize the xpubs, deriv paths, master fingerprint, and seeds in order to re-create the multi sig setup- i know you can store all this on SD card, email a BSMS file, etc- but its still ALOT of info required to reconstruct spending authority right?
so essentially, multi sig is of course more secure, as it eliminates a single point of failure from attacking perspective, BUT it creates greater potential single point of failure if the owner does not know how to restore muti sig correctly am i right or wrong>?
can anyone recommend the absolute best practice for multi sig data storage if needed for recovery?>
