EZPass on an R1250RS

R1250RS house owners know there is not a lot area across the entrance of the bike to position an EZPass in a safe method so somebody does not stroll off with it.

My state (Virginia) points smaller motorcycle-specific EZPass models. I discovered an unoccupied hidden crevice between the fairing plastic and the dashboard. The move is definitely “seen” on this location by overhead toll sensors, as there may be solely RF-transparent plastic above the move.

I secured the move 3 methods: (i) Velcro with adhesive backing, (ii) tenacious 3M physique trim tape, and (iii) the encircling construction (i.e., even when the move got here unfastened, the sprint bracket and fairing bits don’t go away the move with a lot room to maneuver). Between the Velcro and the 3M tape, and with the good thing about prior expertise hiding EZPass models on LTs, RTs and GTLs, I imagine this EZPass is sufficiently secured.

HTH somebody!
