Digital manufacturing firm Prototek has absorbed the 4 enterprise items it has acquired over the previous few years into one model.
The Prototek model will no longer solely include Prototek’s operations, however these of Sac EDM & Waterjet, Inc., Midwest Prototyping, ProtoCAM, and Prototype Options Group.
Prototek acquired Midwest Prototyping in July 2021, with ProtoCam being merged into Midwest in June 2022, and Prototype Options Group being taken over in August 2022. The Sac EDM & Waterjet enterprise was bought in January 2022.
By consolidating these digital manufacturing firms into one enterprise, Prototek believes it is going to present clients and prospects with ‘extra options and better high quality requirements.’ The corporate says the choice was made in response to suggestions from clients and prospects. With the mixing of the varied additive manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet steel fabrication and wire and sinker EDM capabilities, Prototek is assured it is going to ship sooner outcomes at larger high quality for its shoppers.
