The 2020 GT4 was my dream car for a while. It hurts me that they’re not producing it anymore. I bought the M2 because it’s relatively cheap. It’s in a class of its own for cost/performance.

This. If they compared the M2 to the GT4 which is a more realistic comparison given HP of the cars, the GT4 would have that “edge” he’s talking about. But when the rubber hits the road you cannot beat the value of an M2 price for performance. A 3800# car is just not going to handle or feel great compared to a 3200# car with a lower center of gravity thats mid-engined, PDK, and NA engine.
Having said all of that I’m seriously looking forward to the arrival of my M2 6MT! I have love for both brands and always “room at the inn” for either.
